light tunnel / ugly render

I've been thinking about a new way of approching the Gallery...I was looking back at the comments I recieved during the last Jury. One of the most helpfull comments was given by Alex when he suggested looking at where and how I am bringing in the light and containing it. He suggested to bring the light into the center then once its INSIDE spill it out (controlled) to the rest of the Gallery. In this awful rendering below I have taken one oven...oops I mean gallery (du dump ching) and with one curved tube like structure am trying to capture light into the tunnel part and blead it down into the rest of the gallery. This is a pretty ugly beggining, but with a lot of luck and a bit of work I hope it will turn out nicely. I am again left, however, with the problem of how I meathodically design a system that controls how I spill light into the gallery. I would love to design some sort of 'UNIT' that i can work with...like Martins cups for example, but not cups....you all know what I mean....
